Regularly scheduled meetings with ongoing review and evaluation are essential to robust program growth and development, particularly when initiating a new program of study.  Assigning responsibilities, establishing accountability practices and identifying new instructional opportunities are all part of the project review and evaluation process.  With the workforce development experience of our strategic partners, Sound Marine Skills aligns its goals with programmatic relevance and responsiveness to the business communities we will be serving.  Ongoing review and evaluation yields (i) a realistic sense of how well we are meeting our educational and career-developing objectives, (ii) a demonstration of the degree to which we are satisfying the marine trades’ workforce shortage and (iii) a gauge of the quality and customer response to our work.  The ultimate goal of review and evaluation is to strengthen program effectiveness through continuous review and improvement.
