- Trainees complete Classroom teaching per module as specified above.
- Trainees complete Shop and/or Field experience as specified above. Upon completion of
each module’s total contact hour requirement, i.e., Classroom and Shop, Trainees will be awarded ABYC Provisional Certification.
- Internship placements for continued Field training as a Marina employee receiving entry-level wages. On-the-job training of approximately six months duration continues until student is prepared for the ABYC Proficiency Examination in each skill area. Upon completion of the Proficiency Examinations, ABYC Full Certification will be awarded
and regular employment with full benefits will follow.
